Answers about SUPeR supplier registration and process.

What is SUPeR?

SUPeR is MPB's Suppliers e-Registry, and it is a centralized online registration capability for all existing and new suppliers to MPB and its group of companies. It aims to ensure that registered suppliers have met MPB's pre-qualification criteria.

SUPeR aims to improve the analytical and automation processes across MPB's procurement value chain.

SUPeR also allows MPB to centrally manage a wider pool of approved suppliers and evaluate their performances every time a purchase cycle is completed.

All documents submitted to MPB during the registration process will be kept with the strictest confidentiality.

Why do I need to register?

Suppliers who want to conduct and/or continue conducting business with MPB need to be successfully registered via SUPeR. The successful registration is effective upon receipt by the suppliers of an email notifying the same.

How do I register?
  1. Go to https://suppliers.mediaprima.com.my.
  2. Read through and understand the Guidelines and Terms of Use.
  3. Review SUPeR's list of Business Categories and select only the products and/or services your company has the capability to supply to MPB.
  4. Click 'Get Started', select your registration type (Individual or Company), and then review and digitally accept both MPB's Personal Data Protection Notice and MPB's Suppliers' Code of Conduct.
  5. Complete all relevant fields in the online registration form and upload the required supporting documents directly to the portal.
  6. Review your details and submit the application online to complete the digital registration process.
Is there any registration fee?

No. The registration via SUPeR is free.

Who is authorised to do the registration?

Appoint an authorised representative of your company/organisation to conduct the registration application. The authorised personnel must be at least a manager and have access to all necessary information and required documents.

Are the requirements the same for all suppliers?

The registration process via SUPeR is the same for all suppliers. However, the requirements differ depending on company type (e.g., Sdn Bhd, sole proprietorship/partnership, foreign company), individual supplier, or Malaysian statutory bodies.

Can MPB personnel conduct registration on my behalf?

No. You must appoint an authorised representative from among your organisation's staff.

If I can supply more than one category, what should I do?

You should include all your relevant products and services under a single registration to ensure your full capabilities are visible to the MPB group.

My company provides services only. Do I still register?

Yes. Registration is required for all suppliers who supply products, services, or both.

Is there any exemption from the registration process?

No. The registration process is compulsory for all suppliers who want to do business with MPB.

I cannot log in to SUPeR. Why?

Common reasons include using an outdated browser or incorrect email/password/registration number. For assistance, please contact the team via the details on the Contact page.

How long is the approval process?

Processing may take up to 30 working days from the date you submit all completed forms and required documents on the portal.

What happens after I submit all related forms and documents?

Your information will go through a pre-qualification evaluation. Once approved or rejected, you will be notified via email.

Does successful registration guarantee invitations or awards?

No. Selection depends on MPB's purchasing needs/requirements. Registration does not guarantee invitations, purchase orders, or contracts.

How will I know my registration status?

You will be notified via email.

When will my registration expire?

There is no expiry. However, a registration may be suspended and/or terminated without notice in accordance with MPB's Suppliers' Code of Conduct and the Guidelines.

How do I update my company information after registration?

Log in to SUPeR and update details. Upload all the details and submit them with certified supporting documents online. Changes will not be reflected until received and approved by MPB personnel.

Will performance affect supplier status?

Yes. MPB assesses performance based on criteria such as on-time delivery, meeting specifications/requirements, and responsiveness, using a 1–5 rating scale after each purchase cycle.

On what grounds can registration be suspended/terminated?

MPB reserves the right to suspend or terminate any application/registration without notice, in accordance with MPB's Suppliers' Code of Conduct and the Guidelines for Supplier Registration Application.
